It's getting interesting on the web

Things have been pretty busy webwise recently.

First I received an invite from Picasa Web Albums. In typical Google fashion it is starting off by invitation only. Learn more about it here

Then Flock was announced as available for download, so I downloaded it. This could be a great browser. I gives instant access to Flickr and to your blogs, in fact you can post text and pics to your blog instantly from within your browser. Sounds pretty cool! However, after using it for a while I could only conclude that it was not ready for Prime Time...Its only 0.7 not even finished with Beta and finally deleted it and I'm happily staying with Firefox, at least for now.

In addition to that there are some great things going on at Google Labs. I urge you to check it out. I have downloaded several great tools. The Google Notebook is super interesting, as is Google Earth and several other things they have in development. Follow the link here to "My Site" and you'll see on of them.

Back on-line

Took a year off. Had another site for a while but nobody was interested so let that expire. Seems like 6/6/6 is a good date to restart this blog:)
Just roasted my last pound of Kenyan Peaberry, actually it was 1.25lbs and it came out beautifully. Looking forward to trying it tomorrow.
Otherwise not much to report: still looking for a job, still cooking, still roasting coffee. Time to make some sausages though soon:)
